 Eligibility criteria

Depending on the nature of various schemes, the basic eligibility criteria of the various schemes are mentioned below:

1. NMDFC (National Minorities Development Schemes)

The mandate of the Corporation is to provide concessional credit for self employment activities to the backward sections amongst the minorities comprising of Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis & Jains. The benefits under the scheme are available for persons having annual family income of upto Rs.81,000/- in rural areas and Rs.1.03 lakhs in urban areas. As part of new initiative of NMDFC, additional household income eligibility criterion of upto Rs.6.00 lacs has been introduced to expand the coverage under its schemes.

2. NSTFDC (National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation)

With the sole aim of economic upliftment of the Scheduled Tribes in the country by way of extending concessional financial assistance to the target group under its various schemes. The prominent schemes of NSTFDC are Term Loan, Adivasi Mahila Sashaktikaran Yojana – an exclusive scheme for Scheduled Tribe women, Adivasi Shiksha Rinn Yojana – Education Loan scheme, Micro Credit Scheme for Self Help Groups (SHGs) – comprising Scheduled Tribes as its members, Tribal Forest Dwellers Empowerment Scheme and Teak Growers Scheme.

3. NSKFDC (National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation)

NSKFDC implements various loan based schemes which provide financial assistance to the Safai Karamcharis, Scavengers and their dependants for any viable income generating schemes including sanitation related activities and for education in India and abroad.

 There is a general loan application form for the various schemes that NIDC facilitates.

 All loan application forms are to be submitted at the office after filling up all the details required in the form.
